1. Personally Identifiable Information Collected

In order to submit forms and applications available on the VCC Website, you have been asked to share personal information with us. By submitting a form or application, you consent to have VCC share your contact information with participants, individuals, or organizations that are deemed a match by VCC for your needs, services, and/or products based on the information you provide in the form or application. VCC does not intentionally allow forms or applications by or collect personal information from applicants whom VCC has reason to believe are under the age of 18.

Other than sharing your contact information with participants, individuals, or organizations that are deemed a match by VCC for you, VCC will not share any personal information with a third party and it will never be publicly visible without your express written consent. Under special circumstances VCC may, and you authorize VCC to, disclose personal  information without your consent if VCC believes, in its sole discretion, it is reasonable to do so to satisfy laws (such as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, as amended) or government regulations, comply with legal process or law enforcement requests, commence legal actions to protect its rights or property or to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or violations of this privacy policy or other terms of the Program.

2. Anonymous Information Collected

VCC may collect anonymous information regarding your use of the Website. This information, which does not contain any personally identifiable items, helps VCC determine how users like you utilize the Website and enables VCC to improve its service and features. Use of “cookies.”   In the context of the Internet, a “cookie” is a small piece of data that a website sends to your web browser and is stored on your computer’s hard drive. Your IP address does not tell websites your home address, name, or other personally identifying information.

VCC may save and store anonymous information, such as your IP address and information about your use of the Website that is stored in a cookie sent to your web browser. VCC may use this information to best tailor the Website to fulfill the needs of VCC’s users. VCC may retain this anonymous information indefinitely.

3. Donor Privacy

We will not sell, share, or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This policy applies to all information received by VCC, whether via online, offline, electronic, written, or oral communications. Donor information processed through third-party service providers will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

4. Do Not Track Disclosures

VCC does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Some third party sites may track your actions when you are browsing and accessing content. Various browsers offer a DNT option that sends a signal to third parties that you do not want to be tracked.
